Welcome to Weston Favell Allotments

The site is owned by Northampton Council and is Self Managed by a team of volunteers, “The Committee”. The committee comprises 8 members and bring a variety of skills. We need more skills so if you can help get in touch.

The committee aims to foster a spirit of help and co operation, encourage new allotment gardeners, maintain the site in good order, preserve the site for allotment gardening into the future and organise social events for time to time.

The site brings together many different nationalities and cultures which produce a rich varied environment

Weston Favell Allotment Association

The Association is a community of allotment holders who pay an annual rent for a plot usually 10 or 5 poles (A pole is the traditional measurement and equals 5.5 yards). 10 poles = 55 yards (approx. 55 metres).

There are 237 plots in total.

The committee rely on plot holders to play their part in the management of the site by looking after the infrastructure of the site including: security, roads, water butts, borders, paths and each other
