GOOD-BYE TO DAVID
A presentation was held on 3 August 2025 for plot holders to say thank you to David Walpole. David has for a number of years manned the equipment shed and the Hut.
There was a fantastic turnout to thank David for all the advice, assistance and hard work that he has provided over the years.
We hope to see him for coffee!

WESTON FAVELL OPEN GARDENS
The allotments participated in the Weston Favell Open Gardens event on 29 June 2025.
The allotment team were out in force to ensure success!
As part of the event, the allotment was open to ticketholders to walk through the allotment and admire the plots.
Plants donated by plot holders and miscellaneous garden items were on sale.
It was a very hot day so shaded seating and cold drinks were made available to our visitors.
Despite the heat , we estimate that we had between 50 – 60 visitors and made £148.90 which was donated to the Weston Favell Open Gardens in support of the Northampton Search and Rescue and C2C Social Action.
A big thank you to all those who donated plants and gardening items and all the wonderful volunteers who manned the stalls.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
We would like to thank the apprentices and supervising teacher of Northampton College, Construction Department, Painting and Decorating for volunteering to paint the summerhouse and toilet block.
The team, were on site on a very hot day, sanding and painting as part of their volunteer programme. The team have also carried out volunteer work at Lamport Railway , Abbingdon Park and Delapre.
