Welcome to Weston Favell Allotments

The site is owned by Northampton Council and is Self Managed by a team of volunteers, “The Committee”. The committee comprises 8 members who bring together a variety of skills.

The committee aims to foster a spirit of help and co operation, encourage new allotment gardeners, maintain the site in good order, preserve the site for allotment gardening into the future and organise social events for time to time.

PLOT INSPECTION

A plot inspection has been planned for Monday, 20th October 2025. An inspection has not been undertaken for some time because of the weather which was not conducive to cultivating plots. However, we now have a waiting list of over 60 so we shall have to take a firm attitude to any plot holders who are not working their plot properly.

Your plot is supposed to be 75% cultivated which means that most of it should be either growing crops or cleared or covered in preparation for growing. We are giving you plenty of notice to get your plot in order.

SCRAP METAL COLLECTION

A scrap metal collection is being organised so if you have any metal rubbish please put it at the road end of your plot ready to be taken away. The collection will probably be in about two weeks time (circa 10th October 2025).
